Some of her work has a spontaneous and fluid feel to it, particularly when she is portraying our charismatic fauna and sealife. Rebecca's background in fabric design also shows through more so in her renditions of the Australian landscape and flora. In these drawings she displays her love of using colourful decorative images in repetitive format which is a strong fabric design consideration.

Rebecca feels that as a Queensland Artist she should portray the landscape that she lives and breathes and is inspired by the South East region which she describes as "sub-tropical paradise".
